LODGING & TRANSPORTATION FOR MARCH 3-7, 2025

Our first gathering is hosted at the beautiful Meadowkirk at Delta Farm, located in Middleburg, VA, about 50 miles outside of Washington, D.C. Lodging will be booked for you, and Fellows can expect to have their own rooms and an ensuite bathroom.

If your travel schedule allows, we will be able to provide transportation to the retreat location from Dulles Airport (IAD) and downtown D.C. (details below). Otherwise, fellows are responsible for getting to the retreat location themselves. We will send more details about transportation as we get closer to the event. And, of course, we are always available for any questions.

ARRIVAL: MONDAY, MARCH 3

Room check-in at Meadowkirk is between 3:00 and 5:00 PM. (Our first gathering over dinner will begin at 5:30 PM.)

• Shuttle from Dulles (IAD) Airport: 

• We ask that you arrive by about 3:30 PM at Dulles (IAD) Airport. Our shuttle will depart IAD by 4:00 PM. 

• Note: IAD is much closer to Meadowkirk than DCA, and so IAD is our preferred airport for travel. 

• Shuttle from Downtown D.C., location TBA:

• Shuttle from downtown D.C. will meet at 2:30 PM and depart by 2:45 PM.

• Plan to take this shuttle if you arrive earlier than Monday, if you take the train to Union Station, or if you fly into DCA (Reagan National) instead of IAD (Dulles).

• Driving: For those fellows who are local to the DMV, plenty of parking is available onsite. 

DEPARTURE: FRIDAY, MARCH 7

• If flying out on Friday and flying domestically, schedule flights out of IAD after 2:30 PM. We will have a shuttle departing Meadowkirk at 12:00 PM. 

• If you'd like to stay in DC after the event, we will also have a shuttle heading to downtown DC (Union Station) after the event.
